Folio is a web-based publishing studio for authors. You write your manuscript in the browser, watch it set in print-grade type as you type, generate narration in dozens of voices, and ship the finished book to readers — as a free serial, a paid Gumroad book, or a downloadable file in PDF, EPUB, DOCX, MOBI, RTF, TXT, HTML, or Markdown.
Signing in is optional. When you choose to sign in with Google, Folio uses only your basic Google profile — your name and email address — to identify your account so your work autosaves to the cloud and stays in sync across your devices. Folio does not read, write, scan, or share anything else in your Google account, and never accesses Gmail, Drive, Calendar, or any other Google service. You can also use Folio anonymously without signing in.
